She was crying because Nonoy's leaving for workFrame 2 - Jejemar further explained to Solidad that Nonoy's not an OFW ( Overseas Filipino Worker ) who has to cross oceans just to get to their place of work. He's just crossing the Pasig River ( his work is on the other side )
Frame 3 - Solidad said " I know but does he have to swim to get to the other side? He might get sick "
Notes : I had Nonoy swim the polluted Pasig River because I want his character shown to be physically fit in preparation for some future episodes where being the most eligible bachelor in the land make women devise ways to get his attention or land him to church. Nonoy has to elude them in ways that need his cunning and strength.
